Post-Secondary Scholarships
The post-secondary scholarship program is our way of supporting qualified applicants on their path to fulfillment. Since 2022, BLOOM has awarded more than $200,000 in post-secondary scholarships to 40 recipients.
BLOOM can help you join the six million other people enrolled in online programs, support you in obtaining a certificate at an accredited trade school, or complete an associate or bachelor’s degree.
By applying for a scholarship, you are taking one step towards your dream of becoming a hairdresser, entrepreneur, artist, doctor, fashion designer, or any other profession of your choice!
Important Dates
February 13 - April 10: Applications accepted for the 2026/2027 academic year
May-June: Recipients announced
July: Scholarship funds awarded
Eligibility Requirements
Must be a current resident of one of the affordable housing properties listed below
Must be enrolled or planning to enroll at an accredited post-secondary institution during the 2026-2027 academic year in pursuit of an undergraduate degree or professional certificate/diploma
Must demonstrate financial need
Applicants must submit a short video explaining why they should be selected
Applicants must take part in a brief video interview to finalize eligibility

High School Scholarships
BLOOM has partnered with Career Online High School (COHS) to provide eligible residents with access to an online, flexible and convenient program to obtain an accredited high school diploma.
Eligible applicants are BLOOM community residents, at least 16 years old and have not finished high school.
What You Can Expect
- Financial support for up to 18 months while you earn your high school diploma
- Work at your own pace
- A personal academic coach to help you succeed
- Convenient 24/7 online classroom access
- Special training focused on 10 in-demand industries
- Tools that you need to start or advance your career, including a resume and cover letter
